Associate — Corporate (M&A), Tokyo

Established, full-service Tokyo firm seeks an experienced corporate associate to join its M&A practice. The role involves cross-border and domestic deal work across a broad client base, working with a team handling private and public transactions, corporate reorganizations and related commercial matters.

The team advises Japanese and international clients; the position offers frequent collaboration with senior lawyers and exposure to complex transactional work. The firm maintains a large Tokyo presence and a broad domestic practice footprint.

• Qualified lawyer (Japan-qualified or equivalent foreign qualification with ability to work on Japanese matters)
• Practical experience on M&A or corporate transactions
• Strong drafting, negotiation and commercial judgment
• Fluent Japanese; business-level English preferred
