Join a major national law firm's Chicago employee benefits and executive compensation team supporting transactional and public-company work. The role focuses on executive compensation and employee benefits issues arising in M&A transactions (including private equity-backed deals) as well as ongoing public-company executive compensation matters.

The position offers regular collaboration with corporate and private equity deal teams, responsibility for drafting and negotiating compensation and benefits provisions, and counseling clients on SEC and tax-related executive compensation matters. Candidates should be able to manage deal deadlines and client-facing responsibilities in a high-volume practice.

Minimum 3 years' experience advising on executive compensation and employee benefits in the context of M&A and private equity transactions
Experience with public-company executive compensation matters
Admitted to, or eligible for admission to, the Illinois bar
Strong drafting, transactional negotiation, and client-communication skills
