Associate, Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation — Chicago

Our Chicago office is seeking an associate to join a national employee benefits and executive compensation practice. The role focuses on advising private equity and corporate clients on executive compensation and employee benefit matters, particularly in the context of M&A and other transactional work.

The team handles a mix of private-company and public-company executive compensation matters; the position offers exposure to equity‑based compensation arrangements and buyout-related benefit issues.

• 3+ years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits, with transactional (M&A/private equity) experience
• Experience advising on public‑company executive compensation matters and equity‑based awards
• Admitted to, or eligible for admission to, the Illinois bar
• Strong drafting, problem‑solving, and client‑facing skills
