Typical work includes drafting and advising on defined contribution and defined benefit plans, employee stock ownership plans, welfare plans, and executive compensation programs, plus transactional support for mergers and acquisitions. The team values strong written and oral communication, organization, and project management.
- Juris Doctor and active bar membership in the relevant state(s)
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience handling ERISA, employee benefits, and executive compensation matters
- Experience drafting plan documents and advising on qualified and nonqualified plan issues; transactional M&A benefits experience preferred
- Strong legal research, drafting, communication, organizational, and project-management skills
