Experienced associate opportunity with a national executive compensation and employee benefits practice. The role is open to candidates for U.S. offices in Boston, Chicago, New York or San Francisco and focuses on the executive compensation aspects of corporate transactions.

Work will include advising companies, investors and executives on executive compensation and benefits matters, drafting and negotiating employment and compensation documents, and collaborating with tax and corporate teams to integrate compensation solutions into broader transactions.

The team handles executive compensation and benefits matters across private equity and public company transactions, and seeks candidates comfortable working on M&A, IPO and asset-sale-related compensation issues.

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic record
Admission to practice in the hiring state or eligibility for prompt admission
2–6 years of law firm experience working on executive compensation and employee benefits in M&A and transactional matters
Strong knowledge of ERISA, tax and securities issues affecting executive compensation
Experience drafting employment agreements, severance arrangements and compensation plan documents
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently and in teams
Familiarity with legal AI tools preferred
