Apply in confidence →Top-tier U.S. practice is seeking a 2–6 year associate to join its Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits team. The role is open across multiple U.S. offices, with typical work including executive compensation aspects of corporate transactions, benefits counseling, plan design, and compliance.
Associates will work on executive compensation and benefits issues for M&A, IPOs, asset sales and other corporate work; draft and negotiate employment and severance agreements; and collaborate with tax and corporate colleagues on integrated client solutions.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic record
- Admission to practice in the hiring state or eligibility for prompt admission
- 2–6 years' post-qualification experience advising on executive compensation and employee benefits in transactional matters (M&A, IPOs, asset sales)
- Solid knowledge of ERISA, applicable tax rules and securities-related compensation issues
- Strong drafting, analytical and teamwork skills; ability to work independently on complex matters
- Practical familiarity with legal AI tools preferred
