Associate, Financial Services Regulatory (Banking & Finance) — Rome

An international law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Financial Services regulatory practice in Rome. The role focuses on banking and financial regulatory matters, advising financial institutions on compliance and supervisory issues.

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative Finance & Banking team, providing regulatory advice across banking and financial services, and will have the opportunity to engage with cross-border and international regulatory questions.

This is a permanent position suited to a lawyer with a genuine interest in financial services regulation and a desire to develop within a leading international practice.

• Qualified lawyer with experience in banking and financial services regulation
• Italian law qualification (or eligibility to practise in Italy)
• Strong academic background
• Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
• Fluency in Italian and English
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple priorities
