Top-tier global finance team is seeking an associate to work on asset-based lending and leveraged finance matters in the Chicago office. The role covers representation of bank and non-bank lenders and borrower/sponsor clients on ABL, direct lending, syndicated financings and fund finance engagements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating financing documents, leading aspects of transactions and coordinating with deal teams across offices. The team values strong sponsor/LBO finance experience.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial lending, with experience on ABL or leveraged finance matters
Experience representing lenders or borrowers on ABL, direct lending, syndicated finance or fund finance transactions
Strong drafting and negotiation skills; ability to lead aspects of financing transactions
Sponsor/LBO finance experience preferred
Admitted or eligible for admission to the Illinois bar
