We are seeking current judicial clerks for an associate role on the litigation team in the New York office of a major international law firm. This position is targeted to candidates finishing or currently serving in federal or state court clerkships who want to transition to firm practice.

Successful candidates will join a busy litigation practice working on a variety of contentious matters alongside experienced trial and appellate lawyers. The firm offers formal mentoring and training geared to former clerks moving into private practice.

Current judicial clerkship (federal or state) — applicants must be clerks at the time of application
Juris Doctor (or equivalent) from an accredited law school
Resume, cover letter and law school transcript required
Strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills demonstrated by clerkship and academic record
