We are seeking a mid-level leveraged finance lawyer to join our London leveraged finance team. The team operates within a leading global finance practice and works closely with colleagues across M&A, capital markets, and private capital to deliver integrated advice on high-profile transactions.

This role offers exposure to a broad mix of cross-border work, including debt financing for public and private M&A, refinancings, recapitalisations, and strategic investments. Deals range from large, complex financings to smaller matters that allow associates to take on significant responsibility.

You will join a collaborative, internationally integrated team with practitioners admitted under both English and New York law, supporting clients across Europe, the US, and Asia. Mid-level leveraged finance experience, ideally from a leading firm, acting for borrowers/sponsors or creditors in cross-border transactions
Strong technical and commercial skills
Qualified in England & Wales or a common-law jurisdiction
Ability to work constructively in a team and supervise more junior lawyers
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Comfortable managing a challenging workload with a high degree of responsibility
Commitment to exceptional client service and the firm's principles
Proactive engagement in business development and knowledge management
