Associate — Private Companies (Emerging Growth & Startups)

Growing national private companies team is seeking a 3rd–6th year associate to advise emerging and growth-stage companies and their investors. The role is open to candidates in the United States, with specific hiring locations including Washington, DC or Reston, VA.

Ideal candidates will have substantial experience counseling venture-backed companies across their growth cycle — including venture financings and liquidity events — and will join a national transactional practice focused on high-growth technology and life‑science clients.

• 3–6 years' post-qualification experience in corporate/transactional practice.
• Demonstrated experience advising early-stage and growth-stage, venture-backed companies on financings and liquidity transactions.
• Prior experience at a national or international law firm corporate department.
• Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school and excellent drafting and deal-management skills.
