We are seeking a Commercial & Technology Associate to join a rapidly growing, Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked practice. The team is a core part of a leading international law firm and enjoys strong links to the thriving tech ecosystem. The role is offered on a hybrid or fully remote basis, with a Belfast office as a hub.

The practice focuses on technology and data law, advising a diverse mix of clients from high-growth start-ups to global brands across technology, financial services, retail, and consumer sectors. You will work on complex technology transactions, AI deals (both buy- and deploy-side), IP-rich agreements, outsourcing, consumer regulation, and go-to-market strategies. The team operates as a genuinely integrated, cross-office unit with a strong 'one team' approach spanning London, Manchester, and Belfast.

As an Associate, you will play a key role in commercial and technology transactional work, supporting corporate transactions with due diligence, and drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements, including DPAs. You will also contribute to the firm's Managed Legal Services offering and have the opportunity to work directly with in-house legal teams at large corporates and high-profile brands.

Approximately 3–5 years' PQE in a Commercial, Technology, or related practice area
Excellent technical legal skills with strong drafting, analytical, and communication abilities
Experience of a wide variety of commercial and technology contracts
Experience supporting corporate transactions from a commercial and technology perspective, including due diligence
Confidence reviewing and negotiating data processing agreements and strong working knowledge of data privacy
A commercial, practical, and proactive approach
Enthusiasm for legal technology and AI tools
Excellent academics and current UK practising certificate
