An expanding catastrophic and complex injury team in Belfast is seeking qualified lawyers and experienced paralegals to join a leading national practice. The team acts for major insurers and well-known corporate clients on claims of the utmost severity and complexity, including traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, amputation and high-value fatal accident claims.

Working closely with senior fee earners and partners, you will help devise and implement clear case strategies from the outset, whether instructions involve pre-emptive advice and investigation or active litigation. The role offers genuine scope to develop your skills alongside recognised experts in this specialised area of law.

As part of a collegial, team-oriented group, you will manage risk and compliance on each matter, maintain high technical standards, and contribute to client relationship and business development activity where appropriate.

Qualified lawyer or experienced paralegal
Prior experience of, or a strong interest in, personal injury, EL/PL or catastrophic and complex injury claims
Good legal knowledge relevant to the area of expertise
Confident negotiation skills and the ability to take a commercial perspective on legal issues
Excellent client handling and relationship skills, with a professional and confident manner
Team-oriented and collegiate, willing to share knowledge and support colleagues
High level of personal compliance with firm protocols and procedures
