The team is widely recognised for its expertise in defending clients' reputations, providing high-profile and sensitive advice to a distinguished client base.
This role focuses on all aspects of media law, including defamation, privacy, confidentiality, harassment, and data protection. You will handle a varied caseload, from urgent injunction applications to pre-publication advice and regulatory complaints. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior practitioners and collaborate with specialists across the firm's broader private wealth and commercial litigation teams.
You will be part of a collaborative, agile working culture, with exposure to complex, cross-border matters. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with strong litigation skills and a genuine interest in reputation management and media law.
- Qualified solicitor with 2-3 years PQE
- Experience in media litigation, reputation protection, or a related litigation background
- Strong academic record
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Pro-active, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- High emotional intelligence and resilience
- Excellent client-care skills and a collaborative approach
- Demonstrated interest in reputation protection and media law
- Experience with high-profile or sensitive clients would be advantageous
- Ability to handle urgent matters calmly and efficiently
