A San Francisco-based opportunity has opened for a lateral associate to join a premier securities litigation team. The practice handles securities litigation, derivative actions, and other stockholder disputes in both federal and state courts.

The role offers substantial responsibility from the outset, including serving as the primary drafter on motions and pleadings, managing the discovery process, and preparing for and taking or defending depositions.

Experience before the Delaware Court of Chancery would be a valuable asset. This is a strong fit for an associate seeking meaningful, high-stakes securities litigation work within a leading practice.

Experience with securities litigation, derivative litigation, and/or other stockholder matters
Federal and state court litigation experience
Significant experience drafting motions and pleadings, ideally as the primary drafter
Experience preparing for and taking/defending depositions
Document discovery management experience
Delaware Court of Chancery experience is a plus
