Leading global projects team is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Project Development & Construction group in Tokyo or Singapore. The role focuses on construction and project development work across energy and infrastructure transactions, including EPC contracts, revenue contracts (PPAs and oil, gas and hydrogen-related agreements), concessions and other commercial documentation in a project finance context.

Successful candidates will work across jurisdictions on greenfield project matters, advising sponsors (preferred), lenders, offtakers, governments and contractors. The role involves drafting, negotiating and project-managing complex contracts, supervising junior lawyers and contributing to business development and knowledge-sharing across the practice.

Qualified lawyer with c.2–6.5 years PQE.
Solid experience with EPC/construction contracts and project development work within an energy or project finance setting; sponsor-side experience preferred.
Strong drafting, negotiation and matter-management skills; able to lead small teams and meet tight deadlines.
Commercial mindset, entrepreneurial drive and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
