An established insurance defence team in Melbourne is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing liability and personal injury practice. Working closely with a highly regarded partner, you will act for Australian and London market insurers on a broad mix of personal injury, public and product liability, institutional abuse, property damage and medical liability claims.

The role offers genuine ownership from day one: running matters from start to finish, advising clients on liability, quantum and strategy, and drafting pleadings, advices and key correspondence. You will work closely with insurers, counsel and experts, and attend mediations, settlement conferences and court hearings.

You will also help strengthen client relationships and contribute to the growth of the practice, supported by a friendly and collaborative team culture, flexible working arrangements and the reach of a global firm.

Associate or Senior Associate with 3+ years' PQE
Experience in insurance litigation, personal injury, liability or disputes
Strong legal, drafting and communication skills
Confidence managing matters and working directly with clients
A practical and collaborative approach
