We are recruiting a non-contentious Associate or Senior Associate to join a growing Projects, Infrastructure & Construction team, open to candidates aligned to either Glasgow or Birmingham with flexible hybrid working and potential consideration for other locations.

The role is well-suited to a non-contentious construction lawyer, though those with a mixed contentious and non-contentious practice are also welcome to apply. You will work across sectors including commercial development, renewable energy, utilities, civil and heavy engineering, real estate and infrastructure, supporting a broad client base of developers, funders, energy and utilities companies, and public sector organisations.

The team has enjoyed significant recent growth and investment and maintains a collaborative, progressive national ethos that encourages rapid progression and genuine ambition for its lawyers. You will support key non-contentious mandates with appropriate partner support, delegate to and mentor associates, trainees and paralegals, develop strong client relationships, and take part in business development to strengthen the team and wider client base.

Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered or equivalent), 2–7 PQE, able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Well versed in standard industry forms with expertise in non-contentious and/or projects-related matters
Experience of real estate development or public sector matters beneficial but not essential
Creative, forward-thinking, with strong analytical, communication and organisational skills
Client-focused approach with the ability to nurture long-standing relationships
Drive and ambition to play a key senior role and contribute to local and national growth
