A leading international law firm is seeking an Associate to join its Banking & Finance team in London. The role forms an integral part of a collaborative, non-hierarchical group, providing support across the full range of the team's offering to deliver a seamless service to clients.

The team advises on a broad spectrum of domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including leveraged, real estate, structured, Islamic and receivables finance, along with the restructuring of existing facilities. Clients span both sides of transactions and include major clearing and private banks, non-bank lenders, investment funds, institutional investors, corporate borrowers, hedge funds and family offices.

The successful candidate will handle all aspects of transactions directly, from loan and security terms to conditions precedent, and will help guide and support junior team members. There is also scope to contribute to business development, client marketing events and divisional know-how.

England and Wales qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 1–4 years' PQE
Broad general banking and finance experience
Strong written and verbal communication, able to convey complex information clearly
Commercial awareness and sound legal and commercial judgement
Proactive, flexible team player able to work on own initiative and manage shifting priorities
Desirable: real estate, project and/or corporate and acquisition finance experience
Desirable: familiarity with LMA documentation
