Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement case strategies, including legal research, drafting, and reviewing petitions and applications.
- Counsel clients and foreign nationals on procedural and case strategy matters.
- Assess eligibility for various non-immigrant and immigrant visa categories.
- Prepare and submit petitions to government agencies, coordinating with client global mobility teams.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to junior associates and staff, sharing expertise and best practices.
- Proactively manage client communications, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Maintain accurate case data in firm systems in compliance with internal protocols.
- Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Active membership in a U.S. State Bar or the District of Columbia Bar.
- 2–3 years of experience as an associate, with a strong focus on business immigration law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including precise legal drafting without reliance on AI tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- A commitment to providing exceptional client service and contributing to a positive team culture.
