A business immigration practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with roughly 2–3 years of experience to join its team in Silicon Valley. The role offers the chance to work exclusively in immigration law within a collegial, team-oriented environment alongside recognized industry practitioners, supported by advanced technology and an emphasis on industry best practices.

You will develop deep expertise in your client base and the industries they operate in, craft case strategies, research and draft filings, counsel clients and foreign nationals on procedural and case-strategy matters, and manage escalations. Additional responsibilities include assessing eligibility for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status, preparing petitions and applications for submission to government agencies, supporting corporate immigration program management and compliance, and producing legal documents from established precedents.

The position involves direct client communication within service-level expectations, collaboration with colleagues on client projects and issues, and supervision, mentoring, and coaching of junior associates and staff. You will also be expected to identify and implement improvements to quality, efficiency, and process standardization, use firm technology accurately to comply with team and client protocols, and contribute to team and firmwide activities.

U.S. JD or LLM
Member of a U.S. State bar or the Washington, D.C. bar
2–3 years of experience at the Associate level
Expanded practical understanding of immigration law
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong drafting and proofreading ability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to exceptional client service
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
