An immigration-focused practice is seeking an associate to join its collegial, team-oriented environment in San Francisco. The role centers exclusively on business immigration, offering exposure to a dynamic and challenging caseload while learning from experienced practitioners in the field.

You will develop an expert-level understanding of your client base and the industries they operate in, formulate case strategies, and counsel clients and foreign nationals on procedural and case-processing matters. Day-to-day work includes assessing eligibility for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status, preparing petitions and applications for government agencies, drafting legal documents based on established precedents, and supporting clients with immigration program management and compliance.

The position also involves supervising and mentoring junior associates and staff, collaborating across teams to resolve client issues, and identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and standardization. Strong emphasis is placed on precise, organized client communication within service-level protocols.

U.S. JD or LLM required
Member of a U.S. state bar or the Washington, D.C. bar
2–3 years of experience at the associate level
Expanded practical understanding of immigration law
Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong drafting and proofreading skills
Demonstrated attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
Dedication to exceptional client service and contributing to a positive team environment
