We are seeking a Business Immigration Associate with 2–3 years of relevant experience to join our Phoenix office. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, collegial, and team-oriented environment, collaborating with leading experts in the immigration field. You will provide strategic counsel and support to clients on a range of corporate immigration matters, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service and adhering to industry best practices.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute case strategies, including research, drafting, review, and client counseling for non-immigrant and immigrant visa matters.
  • Assess the eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for various visa categories and prepare and submit petitions and applications to government agencies.
  • Partner with client global mobility teams to manage immigration programs, ensure compliance, and address case processing issues.
  • Draft legal documents and correspondence, typically based on established precedents, and conduct research to support client projects.
  • Communicate proactively with clients and foreign nationals on procedural and case strategy, ensuring precise and organized responses within SLAs and team protocols.
  • Mentor and coach junior associates and staff, sharing immigration knowledge and expertise to foster team development.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, ensuring quality, efficiency, and standardization across deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate client data in firm systems and adhere to all documentation and compliance standards.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) from a U.S. law school
  • Active membership in a U.S. state bar or the District of Columbia bar
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience as an associate
  • Expanded practical understanding of immigration law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread and draft fluent prose without reliance on AI tools
  • Dedication to exceptional client service and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture
