Business Restructuring & Reorganization Associate

The Role
Our Sydney office is seeking an outstanding financial restructuring and insolvency associate with 6+ years' PQE. You will join a market-leading business reorganization and bankruptcy (BRR) practice focused on complex domestic and cross-border restructuring transactions. The team comprises over 100 restructuring lawyers globally, with a growing presence in Australia.

What You'll Do

• Advise on complex front-end financial restructurings and formal insolvency matters.
• Work on market-leading cross-border transactions with significant client and partner exposure.
• Collaborate with colleagues across jurisdictions on complex international matters.
• Take ownership of matters, deliver excellent client service, and mentor junior associates.

What We're Looking For

• Strong front-end financial restructuring and formal insolvency experience.
• Significant deal experience in complex cross-border situations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage matters independently with excellent client service.
• Confident communication skills with a pragmatic, friendly, and down-to-earth approach.
• A commitment to teamwork and developing junior talent.
