Top-tier Chicago law firm is seeking a Capital Markets associate to join a national securities practice. The role will involve representing issuers, private equity sponsors and underwriters on a wide range of public and private securities offerings across multiple industries.

The team handles high-value, complex capital markets transactions and offers exposure to cross-office and cross-practice matters. The position reports into the local Capital Markets group and collaborates frequently with corporate and finance colleagues.

4–6 years of securities or capital markets transactional experience at a national or international law firm
Strong public and private offering experience (IPO, follow-on, high-yield, investment-grade, private placements, and related disclosure work)
Excellent drafting, deal execution and client-facing skills
Active bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or ability to obtain admission
