Career Associate — Litigation

National law firm is seeking a Career Associate to join its U.S. litigation team. The role is open to candidates for any U.S. office and fully remote arrangements will be considered. This position is part of a dedicated Career Associate program offering a substantive, practice-focused alternative to the partner track.

The role involves working on complex civil litigation matters across the litigation lifecycle, with opportunities for research, drafting, managing discovery (including e-discovery), and assisting with deposition and trial preparation. The firm emphasizes collegiality, formal training and mentoring, and balanced workload expectations for Career Associates.

• 7+ years of civil litigation experience (PQE)
• Proven experience with complex civil litigation matters
• Strong legal research and writing skills; writing sample required
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents
• Familiarity with e-discovery workflows and managing discovery tasks
• Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize work, and support trial preparation
• Strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; law school transcript required
