Senior knowledge-management lawyer to lead and coordinate KM strategy and resources for the firm’s transactional practice groups. This role will design and maintain precedent libraries, standard forms and templates, collaboration sites, and other searchable knowledge repositories to improve consistency and efficiency across transactional teams.

The role partners with practice leadership and KM colleagues to set KM goals, implement best practices, evaluate and deploy technology (including automation of documents), deliver training, and support legal project management and post-matter learnings. The lawyer will also support business-development materials and client-facing publications as needed.

Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; admitted to practice in Illinois and in good standing
Minimum of ~4 years’ transactional experience in a large law firm environment
Experience creating and maintaining precedents, templates, and knowledge repositories; familiarity with legal KM workflows
Comfort with legal technology and automation tools; prior experience with Foundation or similar platforms preferred
Strong organizational, analytical, communication and project-management skills; ability to train lawyers and work across teams
