A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with three to six years of experience to join its New York office. The role focuses on general commercial litigation, including risk mitigation and advisory work, and offers substantial responsibility in a busy practice.

The successful candidate will handle a broad range of litigation matters in both New York State and federal courts, from initial pleadings and discovery through motions, depositions, and client advisories. Three to six years of litigation experience, with a focus on commercial litigation
Experience in New York State and federal courts
Strong research, writing, and academic credentials
Experience drafting and responding to pleadings and discovery
Experience drafting and arguing motions
Experience taking and defending depositions
Experience advising clients on risk management and complex commercial disputes
Juris Doctorate required; licensed to practice in New York
Trial experience and large law firm background preferred
