An industry-leading global law firm is seeking an accomplished associate to join its growing U.S. commercial real estate practice in New York. The team advises a wide range of clients—including private equity funds, investment banks, operators and developers, pension funds, REITs, and sovereign wealth funds—on sophisticated, often cross-border and highly structured real estate transactions.

The role involves significant responsibility from day one, including leading and managing all aspects of commercial real estate deals from inception to closing. The associate will draft, review, and negotiate loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, leases, and related transactional documents, while advising on development and title/survey matters and overseeing due diligence.

6–8 years of experience in commercial real estate
Strong background in commercial real estate financings (mortgage, mezzanine, and construction loans), acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, commercial leasing, and development and construction matters
Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and people
Outstanding academic credentials
Admission to the New York Bar and in good standing
