A Compensation & Benefits practice group is seeking an Associate with 5+ years of experience to join its team. The role focuses on advising clients on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, with particular emphasis on representing private equity sponsors in acquisitions and divestitures.

The position involves significant day-to-day work with portfolio companies, including grants of profits interests and other LLC incentive awards, management holdco vehicles, rollover equity, and employment and severance arrangements. Candidates will also advise on mergers and acquisitions involving other privately held companies.

Technical experience with IRC Sections 280G and 409A is required. Qualified candidates will have excellent academic credentials and superior writing, oral communication, and analytical skills. This is an equal opportunity employer.

The expected annual base pay range is $365,000+, with the final amount dependent on geographic location, experience, and skillset. 5+ years of experience advising on executive compensation and employee benefits matters
