An Am Law 100 full-service firm is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join its Conflicts Department within the Office of General Counsel. Based in Walnut Creek, California, this role is integral to the firm's risk management, focusing on the review and analysis of conflicts check reports for new matters, lateral attorney hires, and legal support staff hires.

Working closely with firm attorneys and staff, the Conflicts Attorney will identify potential conflicts issues and help resolve and clear conflicts of interest. The resolution process is supported by Aderant Expert software. This position has no billable hour requirement and offers a hybrid schedule, with fully remote opportunities available.

Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership, in good standing, with any state bar
At least 3 years of experience as a Conflicts Attorney in a large law firm environment
At least 1 year of cumulative experience conducting lateral hire conflicts checks preferred
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent organizational and analytical abilities
High attention to detail, self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
Experience with Aderant Expert preferred but not required
