Apply in confidence →A prominent law firm is seeking a junior associate to join its Construction Practice Group in New York. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of construction law experience, with a focus on both transactional and dispute-related matters.
The role involves supporting partners and clients across all stages of construction and infrastructure projects, from conception through closeout. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex construction, license, and design-related agreements, such as owner-contractor, owner-architect, construction management, engineering, consulting, access, commissioning, and procurement contracts. The associate will also assist with construction-related disputes, claims avoidance strategies, project counseling, litigation, and arbitration support, as well as risk management matters.
Candidates should have strong academic credentials, excellent writing skills, and attention to detail. Admission to the New York Bar or the ability to waive in is required.
