An established corporate team is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its Cheltenham office, advising clients across the full business life cycle. Working alongside several partners within a friendly, collegiate group, this is a strong platform for a mid-level lawyer looking to develop their career within a recognised corporate practice.

The team handles a broad range of high-profile domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and disposals (both public and private), as well as IPOs and securities offerings on the Official List, and AIM and private placements. It acts for issuers, financial advisers and brokers, and much of the work carries an international dimension, with a client base spanning the US, Europe and Africa.

The Cheltenham team is compact and partner-led, and members frequently collaborate with colleagues in national and international offices. Some travel will be required, including periodic visits to the London office and, occasionally, internationally. The firm offers a hybrid and flexible working approach, subject to manager approval.

England and Wales qualified lawyer (or equivalent) with 2–4 PQE
Experience in a corporate team and on a range of corporate transactions
Strong commercial judgement and understanding of client needs
Clear, concise written and verbal communication
Accurate, logical drafting and solid legal research skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines under pressure
Desirable: practical experience using AI tools in a legal context
Desirable: interest in international and cross-border corporate work
