The role involves advising sponsors, developers, investors and lenders on M&A, project development, project finance, joint ventures and strategic investments across renewable and energy-transition matters.
This opening is available across U.S. offices (hybrid working model), with a stated preference for San Diego or New York. The team handles domestic and cross-border matters, including tax-credit and structured financings.
Ideal candidates will join a collaborative transactional team and contribute to deal execution, client calls, document drafting and negotiation, and related legal research and compliance work.
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in California
- 1 3 years of corporate, energy, or infrastructure transactional experience (M&A, project finance, project development, joint ventures)
- Experience or familiarity with tax equity/tax credit financings, structured financings, and investor/lender-side transactions
- Strong drafting, negotiation, legal research and communication skills; excellent academic credentials
