Leading national corporate practice is hiring a junior associate to support energy and infrastructure transactions. The role involves advising sponsors, developers, investors and lenders on M&A, project development, project finance, joint ventures and strategic investments across renewable and energy-transition matters.

This opening is available across U.S. offices (hybrid working model), with a stated preference for San Diego or New York. The team handles domestic and cross-border matters, including tax-credit and structured financings.

Ideal candidates will join a collaborative transactional team and contribute to deal execution, client calls, document drafting and negotiation, and related legal research and compliance work.

JD from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice in California
1 3 years of corporate, energy, or infrastructure transactional experience (M&A, project finance, project development, joint ventures)
Experience or familiarity with tax equity/tax credit financings, structured financings, and investor/lender-side transactions
Strong drafting, negotiation, legal research and communication skills; excellent academic credentials
