An opportunity has arisen for a corporate lawyer to join the corporate department of a highly regarded international law firm in Madrid. The role focuses on corporate governance and general company secretarial work for a substantial corporate group.

The successful candidate will prepare and review a wide range of governance documentation, including minutes, board and shareholder proposals and reports, shareholder registry entries, deeds and certifications. They will also review corporate documentation across the group's governing bodies and provide commentary on internal corporate governance rules, protocols and procedures.

In addition, the role involves preparing and reviewing company contracts and drafting general meeting deeds. The firm offers a permanent employment contract and a salary of €35,000–€40,000 gross per annum, along with a commitment to equality and diversity.

At least 4 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on corporate governance
Strong academic record and a vocation for service
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good level of English
Initiative and a proven team-player mindset
