Our client, a national full-service law firm with a strong commercial practice, is seeking experienced lateral partners to grow its corporate practice. The firm offers a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with substantial marketing support and no capital contribution to join.
Opportunities exist in the following markets:
- Southern California: We are looking for a group of corporate partners to establish a meaningful presence in the region. The firm currently has minimal corporate presence there, so a group is essential to build traction.
- Texas (Houston/Dallas): We are open to a single highly sophisticated partner or, ideally, a group to expand the firm’s full-service offering. The Dallas office is primarily insurance-focused today; the firm is committed to diversifying into corporate and transactional work. A distinctive book of business and the ability to bring a team are key.
This is a partner-level, portable-book search. The firm places a premium on relationship-driven business development, cross-selling, and sharing credit. Integration support is robust, with a tailored program designed to help laterals succeed.
- Portable book of business of $1.5M+ (USD)
- Proven success in M&A and general corporate transactions
- Entrepreneurial, collaborative approach with a track record of cross-selling
- For Southern California: a group of partners (at least 2-3) preferred
- For Texas: a senior partner with a portable book and willingness to bring a team
- JD and active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction
Everything is held in confidence and your name reaches no one without your say-so.
