Corporate Securities Regulation & Governance Associate — New York

A New York-based corporate practice is seeking an associate to join its securities regulation and corporate governance group. The role focuses on advising public companies on the full range of governance matters and on securities law compliance.

The successful candidate will counsel public companies on corporate governance standards and on governance issues arising in connection with initial public offerings, as well as on securities regulation matters including periodic disclosure and reporting under the Exchange Act.

This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-profile capital markets and public company advisory matters within a collaborative team environment.

• Law school class years 2020–2024
• Experience advising public companies on corporate governance matters, including governance standards and governance issues in IPOs
• Experience advising on securities regulation matters, including Exchange Act disclosure requirements
• Strong academic credentials with demonstrated writing and research skills
