Counsel — Litigation (Settlement & Mass Torts)

Senior counsel role on a national settlement and mass-torts team. The attorney will lead and manage complex product-liability, toxic-tort and mass-tort settlement programs from negotiation through claims administration and program close-out.

Day-to-day responsibilities include structuring settlements and eligibility criteria, negotiating and drafting settlement documents, directing claims review and categorization, resolving lien and claimant disputes, and overseeing data, reporting and governance for settlement funds.

This role is open across multiple U.S. offices and reports to firm partners; it requires hands-on experience running large-scale claims-resolution programs and managing cross-functional teams (attorneys, paralegals and vendor personnel).

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active, good-standing state bar admission or eligibility to waive in
• Minimum 8 years of substantive legal experience with a focus on mass torts, product liability, toxic torts or related areas; at least 3 years of law-firm litigation experience
• Proven experience negotiating, drafting and implementing large-scale settlements and claims-administration programs
• Experience with claims resolution, allocation methodologies, lien resolution and settlement governance
• Comfort with claims-management and claims-review platforms; familiarity with data analysis and matter-management systems preferred
• Strong project-management, communication and team-leadership skills
