Counsel — Product Liability & Mass Torts

Senior counsel role on a national product‑liability and mass‑torts settlement team. The attorney will lead and manage all phases of complex settlements from negotiation through claims administration and program closure, working closely with firm partners and multi‑disciplinary teams.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include structuring and negotiating settlement terms, drafting and finalizing settlement documentation, resolving claimant disputes and appeals, and overseeing claims review, allocation and lien resolution processes.

The role requires hands‑on management of claims administration operations, data analysis to monitor claim trends and values, and coordination with vendors and internal teams to ensure compliant, efficient settlement implementation.

• JD and active bar membership or eligibility to waive in.
• Minimum 8 years of substantive legal experience with a focus on mass torts/product liability (drug, device, or consumer products), including at least three years of litigation practice at a law firm.
• Proven experience negotiating and implementing large‑scale settlements and familiarity with claims administration, allocation methodologies, lien resolution and settlement fund governance.
• Comfort with data‑driven claims review, matter management and claims platforms; strong project management and stakeholder‑communication skills.
