Counsel, Settlement Team — Litigation

Senior counsel role within a national litigation practice focused on product liability, toxic tort and mass tort settlement programs. The attorney will lead and manage settlement negotiations and full implementation of complex claims-resolution programs across multiple offices.

Responsibilities include developing settlement structures and eligibility criteria, negotiating and drafting settlement documents, overseeing claims administration and data/quality controls, resolving claimant disputes and lien issues, and coordinating with internal teams and opposing counsel to ensure compliant program governance.

This is a hands-on role for an experiencedsettlements lawyer who can manage cross-functional teams, supervise claims review workflows, and handle the operational and legal aspects of large-scale resolution programs.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership or eligibility to waive in
• Minimum of 8 years of substantive experience with a focus on mass torts/product liability/toxic torts, including at least three years of litigation practice at a law firm
• Proven experience negotiating, drafting and implementing large-scale settlements and claims-resolution programs
• Claims resolution experience involving pharmaceutical, medical device or consumer products strongly preferred
• Familiarity with claims administration platforms, matter-management systems and data-driven claims review; experience with AI-enabled review tools a plus
• Strong project management, team leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills
