Apply in confidence →Senior counsel role supporting a national product-liability and mass-torts settlement practice. The attorney will lead settlement negotiations and manage end-to-end claims resolution workstreams across complex pharmaceutical, medical device, toxic tort, and consumer-product matters.
Responsibilities include developing settlement structures and eligibility criteria, negotiating and drafting settlement documents, overseeing claims administration and data-driven claims review, resolving lien and claimant disputes, and managing teams and vendors to ensure accurate and compliant program implementation.
This is a multi-office opportunity within the firm’s U.S. network; occasional coordination across offices and with external plaintiffs’ counsel and administrators is expected.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active and in-good-standing state bar membership or eligibility to waive in.
- Minimum of 8 years of substantive legal experience, with significant mass-torts/product-liability focus; at least three years of litigation practice at a law firm.
- Proven experience negotiating and implementing large-scale settlements and claims resolution programs (pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products preferred).
- Experience drafting and negotiating settlement documents; strong contracting and governance knowledge.
- Familiarity with claims administration platforms, matter-management systems, and AI-enabled claim-review tools preferred.
- Strong project management, data-analysis, communication, and stakeholder-management skills; ability to lead teams and multi-stream workflows.
