Counsel — Settlement Team (Litigation)

Senior litigation counsel role on a national settlement and mass-torts team. You will lead and manage large-scale product liability, toxic tort, and mass-tort settlement programs from negotiation through claims administration and program closeout.

Work includes developing settlement structures and eligibility criteria, negotiating and drafting settlement documents, overseeing claims review and allocation methodologies, resolving liens and claimant disputes, and supervising multidisciplinary teams responsible for intake, data review, and reporting.

The role is open across the firm’s U.S. offices and will work closely with partners and claims administrators to ensure efficient, compliant settlement implementation.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership or eligibility to waive in.
• Minimum of 8 years of substantive legal experience, including significant mass torts/product liability work and at least three years of litigation practice at a law firm.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating, drafting, and implementing large-scale settlements and claims administration programs (pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer product matters preferred).
• Experience managing teams, supervising claims review, and working with claims administration platforms and matter-management systems; strong project-management, data-analysis, and stakeholder-communication skills.
