Apply in confidence →Senior counsel role supporting a national product-liability and mass-torts settlement practice. The attorney will lead and manage settlement programs from negotiation through claims administration and program closure across multiple office locations.
Day-to-day responsibilities include structuring and negotiating large-scale settlements, drafting and finalizing settlement documents, overseeing claims review and allocation, resolving lien and claimant disputes, and supervising teams responsible for claims intake and quality assurance.
The role requires close coordination with plaintiffs’ counsel, operations staff, and claims-administration vendors to ensure compliance with reporting, governance, and data-management obligations throughout a settlement lifecycle.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active and in-good-standing state bar admission or eligibility to waive in.
- Minimum 8 years of substantive legal experience with a focus on mass torts/product liability; at least 3 years of litigation practice at a law firm.
- Experience negotiating and implementing large-scale settlements and drafting settlement agreements and related documents.
- Claims resolution and claims-administration experience, preferably involving pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumer products, or similar matters.
- Familiarity with claims-administration platforms and matter management systems; experience with data analysis and AI-enabled claim review preferred.
- Strong project management, team leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
