Counsel, Settlement Team — Litigation

Senior counsel role on a national product-liability and mass-torts settlement team. The attorney will lead settlement negotiations and manage end-to-end resolution and claims-administration programs for complex toxic-tort, product liability, and mass-tort matters.

Responsibilities include structuring settlements, drafting and negotiating settlement documents, overseeing claims review and allocation methodologies, resolving lien and claimant disputes, and supervising paralegals and attorneys responsible for claims intake and quality assurance.

This is a multi-office role with regular collaboration across teams and direct interaction with plaintiffs' counsel and claims administrators to ensure settlement programs are implemented efficiently and in compliance with governing requirements.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership or eligibility to waive in.
• Minimum of 8 years of substantive legal experience, with at least 3 years of litigation practice at a law firm.
• Significant mass-torts/product-liability experience (drug, medical device and/or consumer products) with hands-on claims-resolution work.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating and drafting settlement agreements and managing claims-administration programs.
• Experience supervising teams (attorneys, paralegals) and managing multiple work streams; strong project-management and stakeholder-communication skills.
• Familiarity with matter-management and claims-administration platforms and data/claims analysis; experience with AI-enabled review tools preferred.
