Counsel, Settlement Team — Product Liability & Mass Torts

Senior counsel position within a national litigation team focused on product liability, toxic tort and mass tort settlement matters. The role leads settlement negotiations, helps design settlement structures and eligibility criteria, and oversees claims administration from negotiation through program closure.

The attorney will work collaboratively with litigation teams and opposing counsel, manage multidisciplinary teams (including nurse paralegals and other attorneys), and supervise data-driven claim review, allocation methodologies, lien resolution and settlement fund governance.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing, or eligibility to waive in.
• Minimum of 8 years of substantive legal experience, with at least three years of litigation practice at a law firm.
• Demonstrated experience with mass tort/product liability settlements (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or consumer products) and claims resolution.
• Experience negotiating and drafting settlement agreements, and familiarity with claims administration, data management and settlement governance.
• Comfort managing multiple teams/work streams, strong project-management and stakeholder-communication skills.
• Familiarity with matter-management and claims administration platforms; experience with AI-enabled claim review tools preferred.
