Counsel — Settlement Team (Product Liability & Mass Torts)

Seeking a Counsel attorney to join a national litigation group focused on product liability, toxic tort and mass tort settlement work. The role will lead and manage settlement programs from negotiation through claims administration and final resolution.

Responsibilities include developing settlement structures and eligibility criteria, negotiating and drafting settlement documents, overseeing claims review and allocation, resolving claimant disputes and liens, and supervising teams involved in claims intake, data analysis and quality assurance.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with a state Bar, or eligible to waive in.
• Minimum of 8 years of substantive experience, including significant mass tort/product liability settlement and at least three years of litigation experience at a law firm.
• Direct claims resolution and settlement implementation experience (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or consumer products preferred).
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills; familiarity with claims administration platforms and matter-management systems; experience with data analysis and workflow/quality assurance.
• Demonstrated project management, leadership, and stakeholder-communication abilities; able to manage multiple teams and work streams.
