Counsel — Settlement Team (Product Liability & Mass Torts)

Experienced counsel sought to join a national firm's settlement team supporting product liability, toxic tort and mass tort matters. The role leads and manages settlement programs from negotiation through claims administration and program close-out, working closely with partners and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include structuring settlements, negotiating and drafting settlement documents, supervising claims review and administration, resolving claimant disputes and appeals, and overseeing data, reporting and compliance related to settlement funds.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership or eligibility to waive in.
• Minimum of 8 years of substantive legal experience with a focus on mass torts, product liability, toxic torts or related areas; at least 3 years of prior litigation experience at a law firm.
• Proven experience negotiating and implementing large-scale settlements and claims resolution (pharmaceutical, medical device or consumer product experience preferred).
• Strong project management, data-analysis and stakeholder-communication skills; experience supervising teams.
• Familiarity with matter management and claims administration platforms and comfort with AI-enabled claim review tools preferred.
