Counsel — Settlement Team (Product Liability & Mass Torts)

Experienced counsel sought to join a national litigation team focused on leading complex product liability, toxic tort and mass tort settlement programs. The role will lead settlement negotiations and oversee end-to-end implementation of large-scale claims resolution efforts, working closely with senior attorneys and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include structuring settlements and eligibility criteria, drafting and negotiating settlement documents, managing claims administration and data workflows, resolving claimant disputes and overseeing lien resolution and reporting/compliance obligations. The position requires hands-on leadership of attorney and paralegal teams and close coordination with plaintiffs' counsel and third‑party administrators.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active and in good standing with a state bar, or eligible to waive in
• Minimum 8 years of substantive legal experience, with at least 3 years of litigation practice at a law firm
• Significant mass tort/product liability experience (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumer products) with demonstrated claims resolution work
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating settlement documents and familiarity with settlement governance and claims allocation methodology
• Comfort managing teams and multiple workstreams; strong project management, communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience with matter-management systems, claims-administration platforms and AI-enabled claim review tools preferred
