Counsel — Settlement Team (Product Liability & Mass Torts)

Senior counsel role within a national product‑liability and mass‑torts settlement practice. The attorney will lead settlement strategy and day‑to‑day implementation on large, complex resolutions — from negotiation and drafting through claims administration, allocation, lien resolution and program close‑out.

The role requires working with firm partners and opposing counsel to develop settlement structures and eligibility criteria, manage claims review teams, oversee data and reporting, and ensure governance and compliance for settlement funds and programs.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with a U.S. state bar or eligible for waiver.
• Minimum of 8 years of substantive litigation experience with a significant focus on mass torts/product liability (pharmaceuticals, medical devices and/or consumer products), including at least three years at a law firm.
• Proven experience negotiating and implementing large‑scale settlements, including drafting settlement agreements and overseeing claims administration and allocation methodologies.
• Familiarity with claims administration platforms, matter management systems and AI‑enabled claim review tools preferred; strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated project management, team leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
