Counsel — Settlement Team (Product Liability & Mass Torts)

Seeking a senior counsel to lead and manage complex product liability, toxic tort, and mass tort settlement programs across the firm’s U.S. offices. This role will partner with senior litigators to design settlement structures, negotiate with plaintiffs’ counsel, and oversee claims administration through program closeout.

The successful candidate will act as the primary legal and operations lead on large-scale resolutions, directing review teams, supervising claims workflows, handling lien and allocation issues, and ensuring compliance with reporting and governance obligations.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active and in-good-standing state bar license or eligibility to waive in.
• Minimum 8 years of substantive legal experience, including at least 3 years of litigation practice at a law firm and substantial mass tort/product-liability experience.
• Proven experience negotiating and implementing large-scale settlements and claims administration (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or consumer product matters preferred).
• Strong drafting skills for settlement documents, familiarity with claims administration platforms and matter-management systems, and competency with data analysis related to claims trends and valuation.
• Demonstrated project management, stakeholder communication, and team leadership abilities.
