Senior data, digital and technology lawyer role within a nationally recognised commercial & data practice. The role focuses on complex advisory and contract work, cross-border issues and incident response, supporting clients across retail, tech, sports, healthcare and financial services.

This is a Managing Associate–level position for an experienced practitioner who will act as a day-to-day adviser to key clients, lead sizeable compliance and incident-response matters, and work closely with colleagues across commercial, disputes, employment and legal tech teams.

The role is based in Edinburgh and offers strong career development opportunities, including mentoring responsibilities and potential secondments.

Minimum 5 years' PQE advising on data protection, digital and technology matters
Proven experience with GDPR/UK GDPR, international data transfers, PECR, cyber incident response and data-security advice
Strong commercial and contractual experience on technology/IT outsourcing, SaaS/cloud and related commercial agreements
Track record of supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to business development and team strategy
